The trip was complicated. The logistics were complex. But in the end, we accomplished more than we hoped. 140 miles of boating. Hike to the Cirque of the Unclimbables and portage the raft. Climb for 3 weeks doing the first free ascent of the Tara Tower via our route The Source (Grade V 5.12). Re-inflate the raft, cross Glacier lake, and drop into the first rafting descent of Britnell Creek. Finally, boat 100 more miles to Virginia Falls. Success.
