In 2014 I went on a wild and crazy trip to the Buckskin Glacier in Alaska where Skiy Detray and I tried our damnedest to climb a new route on the East Face of the Moose's Tooth.  This massive and intimidating formation rises nearly 4800 feet above the glacier and holds routes established by some of the best.  I was out of my element and generally terrified, but we went for it.  Unfortunately the conditions on the mountain were not in our favor.  Skiy returned last year and finished the line we started, his dream realized, I couldn't be happier for him.
